This lovely remodel of a powder room, kitchen and dining room is located in Noe Valley, San Francisco.

The small powder room needed a complete remodel as well as the small kitchen and adjacent dining. The transformation was inspired by the client’s lovely Japanese garden. The importance of minimalism and natural materials are featured throughout.

A large plank of locally sourced wood was installed as a counter in the powder room in order to create a sense of continuity between the natural surroundings and the interiors. A natural stone sink and a touch-less faucet, reminiscent of the client’s garden fountain, finish this room.

In the kitchen, Euro style cabinets were installed with a Eucalyptus veneer. New windows and doors were added to introduce light to the space, and to incorporate the garden views and zen esthetic.

A custom dining room table and classic Italian chairs were added to the dining room, and full height windows replaced all small windows in order to access the garden.

A soft gray palette completes this minimal look throughout.

The importance of minimalism and natural materials was the basis for this project.
